The Sonic Praying meme, also known as Christian Sonic, is an exploitable image of Sonic the Hedgehog kneeling in prayer under a night sky. It is commonly used for desperate requests, ironic piety, dramatic pleas, or exaggerated reactions.
The image comes from a 2011 fan art illustration that was posted to the Sonic Retro blog in October 2012. It later became a popular reaction and exploitable meme in early 2020.
