About Serious Cat
Serious Cat features a white cat with a stern, expressionless face. The image also serves as an exploitable template, with the cat’s face edited onto different people or subjects to create deadpan reactions and humorous comparisons.
The original image is a photograph of a white cat with a serious expression, first posted to gazo-box.com. The meme is based on a Photoshop edit that places the cat’s face over another subject. Later variations apply the same edit to different people, characters, and objects. The format is commonly used for deadpan reactions, visual comparisons, and captions that emphasize an unusually serious expression.
