About Why Would I Deceive You
The Why Would I Deceive You meme features Elizabeth Holmes giving Nathan Fielder a wide-eyed stare while asking, “Why would I deceive you?” It is commonly used in memes about suspicious excuses, dishonest partners, and situations where someone denies obvious wrongdoing.
The scene comes from the teaser trailer for Nathan Fielder’s documentary project You Can See Everything, released by A24 on September 6, 2026. The exchange quickly inspired memes on X and other social media, with early examples portraying Holmes and Fielder as a couple in humorous domestic situations.
