The Peter Parker’s Glasses meme is a multi-panel image template showing Peter Parker’s view changing as he puts on or removes his glasses. It is commonly used to compare two things, reveal hidden similarities, or make one option appear better or worse than another.
The images come from the 2002 film Spider-Man, in which Peter discovers that he no longer needs glasses after gaining superpowers. One of the early meme examples appeared on 9GAG on August 29, 2016, comparing Hillary Clinton to a landfill.
