The Big Brain Wojak meme is a Wojak variant with an exaggerated brain extending beyond the character’s head, often transforming into objects or other shapes. It is commonly used to portray exaggerated intelligence, overcomplicated reasoning, or overly confident opinions in an ironic way.
The earliest traceable example was posted to 4chan’s /pol/ board on November 23, 2016, under the filename “intelligence.jpeg.” Later variations expanded the oversized-brain concept into different objects, animals, and scenarios.
