About Tom Reading The Newspaper
The Tom Reading The Newspaper meme features Tom from Tom and Jerry looking up from a newspaper with a suspicious expression. It is commonly used to react to confusing, unexpected, or potentially troubling situations, often with captions describing something that interrupts an otherwise ordinary moment.
The image comes from the 1956 Tom and Jerry short “Down Beat Bear.” The template can also be edited by changing the text printed on the newspaper.
