About Sad Ant With Bag
The Sad Ant With Bag meme, also known as Homeless Ant, features a sad-looking cartoon ant carrying a bindle tied to a stick. The image is commonly used to joke about rejection, defeat, or having to leave after an embarrassing situation.
The illustration comes from Virginia-based pest control company Zap Pest Control, where the original file was named “sad bug with napsack.” The meme became popular with captions following the format “How it feels X,” with X replaced by a demoralizing or embarrassing situation.
