About Drowning High Five
The Drowning High Five meme is a comic posted by Russian artist Gudim on Instagram on June 19, 2017, showing a hand reaching out of the water for help, only to receive a high five instead. It is commonly used as a reaction image and object-labeling template for jokes about useless help, misplaced support, or situations where someone offers the wrong kind of assistance.
