About Shut Up And Take My Money!
The Shut Up And Take My Money! meme is a reaction image featuring Fry from Futurama waving several dollar bills. It is commonly used to express enthusiastic approval or an immediate desire to buy something, especially a newly announced product or idea.
The image comes from the Season 6 episode “Attack of the Killer App,” which aired on July 1, 2010. In the episode, Fry tries to buy the eyePhone and interrupts the cashier’s warnings about its reception and battery life by shouting the phrase while waving his money. An image macro using the scene appeared on the German tech blog Crackajack the following day.
